Call in at the Croft Tea Room at any time and check out the excellent stock of local interest books on sale. You can purchase our Cray 150 published books covering a range of local interest topics such as history, poetry and sport.
Please check out too the shelf of mint condition second-hand books kindly donated by customers and friends for the enjoyment of customers who are invited to buy / swap according to choice. The stock varies from week to week but always offers a good selection of contemporary fiction writing, classics, and non-fiction.

Richard Gardner invites new members to join the friendly and informal Croft Book Club (founded 2015). Come and tell us about the book(s) you have been reading lately. The monthly meetings are on Thursday afternoons (2pm to 4pm) Price £6 to include tea / coffee + cake. For details please enquire at the Croft Tea Room.
